Construction and Development Litigation

Coburn & Martin represents clients in domestic and international construction and development litigation. We provide representation throughout the construction project process, from pre-construction strategy and contract drafting to lien and defect litigation on multi-billion dollar developments. We have extensive experience representing developers of resort hotels and casinos nationally in complex construction law, intellectual property rights, and lien litigation.


Export Controls

Coburn & Martin handles regulatory and compliance requirements for clients including counsel on the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Export Administration Regulation (EAR), Foreign Corrupt Practices Acts (FCPA), and the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA). Clients also receive counsel to assist in the navigation of international sanctions as directed by the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and the Department of Treasury.

The firm also facilitates client introduction to a support network of legal, intelligence, and consulting firms, typically comprised of former government, military, and intelligence personnel, to the client.


International Business Development

Coburn & Martin assists clients with the legal requirements of the international business development process including agent contracting, host-nation law firm vetting, customs issues, political risk analysis, and cross-border transactions.
